Our journey began with our CEO, Dan Perlman. With a long-standing career in the pharmaceutical industry, Dan has a remarkable track record of building innovative companies that disrupt the status quo. His focus has always been on creating cost-effective solutions that enhance control and efficiency in clinical trial execution.

Dan's legacy includes founding ReSearch Pharmaceutical Solutions, renowned for its embedded programs that offered large pharmaceutical companies an alternative to fully outsourcing their studies. He was also a founding member of K-Force and pioneered FSP programs. This wealth of experience laid the foundation for TPS.

Dan partnered with a long-term friend and client, Mike Smith, to take TPS to new heights. Mike, formerly the VP of Clinical Operations for Novartis, Pfizer, and Wyeth, has always been a staunch advocate of the embedded model. Throughout his career, he utilized these models to great effect and was an early contributor to the Risk-Based Monitoring space. His innovative methodology and technology significantly improved operational quality, reducing the need for on-site monitoring by over 30%.

Together, Dan and Mike combined their vast experiences and expertise to reimagine the possibilities of clinical trial execution. TPS was born out of this vision, with the goal of supporting sponsors in new and transformative ways.
